What are the Top 5 Foods of All Time

By: Henry Jones

There are many opinions on the top 5 lists out there. People think that they can’t be factual, but I disagree. The great thing about my top 5 lists is that they are always right and no one can debate me on any topic. Anyways my top five food rankings go like this : any type of pasta at the one, steak at the two, a breakfast meal at the three, grilled cheese burritos from Taco Bell at the four, and grilled nuggets from Chick Fil A rounding it out at the five.

If you know me then you know I love Italian foods. My favorite kind of pasta is preferably chicken alfredo, but I will still devour any pasta style foods. I mean, it is just so hard to mess up even when my younger brother makes it for dinner every now and then. Next, steak is a gimme pick. Who doesn’t love a good steak? Medium rare or even medium are the only ways to go, but I will save that blog for when I really am desperate for a 100 in the grade book. Next, is a solid breakfast meal. There is a reason they claim breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If it is done right it’ll set the mood for the rest of the time you’re awake. Next, is a grilled cheese burrito from the one and only Taco Bell. It’s a bit of a niche pull for those who know, however don’t knock it ‘till you try it. I used to be a big T-Bell hater until I figured out about this hidden gem. Safe to say it destroys my bank account any time I’m hungry. Last but not least is grilled nuggets. I recently got put onto these and let me say that I’m very glad. My pre game football meal used to be Chipotle, but I’ve made the transition. The macros these give you in such a small amount is criminally unrecognized and needs more attention.

Best Steaks

For good reason, the New York strip is regarded as one of the best steak cuts. This specific cut, which comes from the cow’s short loin, has the ideal ratio of flavor to tenderness. The New York strip has a rich, meaty flavor with just the perfect amount of marbling, in contrast to the ribeye, which is renowned for its fattiness, or the filet mignon, which occasionally lacks a strong beefy taste. The steak maintains its juicy and soft texture while maintaining its gratifying meaty flavor thanks to the marbling, which is the subtle strips of fat that run through the flesh. The texture is firm but soft when cooked to the ideal medium-rare, and the crispy exterior sear provides an enticing coating that seals in all the mouthwatering flavors.

The New York strip’s flexibility in preparation is another factor that makes it the greatest cut. The New York strip cooks well in a range of ways, including grilling, pan-searing, and broiled. The cut is sufficiently large to retain its juicy, soft interior while developing a crispy, delicious outer-layer. Its natural qualities are enhanced by a simple seasoning of salt and pepper, but it also goes well with a wide range of marinades, rubs, or sauces, such as a street taco seasoning or a traditional garlic and herbs. The steak offers versatility beyond the conventional steak because of its strong yet delicate texture, which also makes it a great option for thinly slicing and serving in recipes like fajitas or steak salads.

The New York strip is the perfect steak for both informal and formal eating because of the balance of size and presentation. The New York strip provides a generous serving without being overpowering, in contrast to some of the more flashy cuts, such the porterhouse or tomahawk steak. It is frequently cooked in a way that accentuates its soft texture and rich, savory flavor, and its size is ideal for a filling, substantial lunch without going overboard. The New York strip is always a tasty and satisfying supper, whether it is consumed at a fancy restaurant or prepared on the grill at home. It is the best cut because of its taste, texture, and adaptability.

Best Food of All Time

Food is something we all need in our day to day lives, so in order not to take that for granted we show appreciation to our favorites. Foods  like steak, chicken wings, and salad. Like always though there is a certain criteria to be named the best food of all time. This criteria is: overall taste, how often you can eat it, and how much it cost. This criteria will help me show you what I believe the best food is.

First I’ll be talking about the foods with the best overall for my taste bud palette. Now I know that this is an obvious one but in my opinion steak has the longest stretch of being the best food known to man and I would be ashamed of myself if I didn’t at least mention it on this blog. Then a solid pick that is not loved by everyone is salad. I’m not a straight lettuce and ranch salad type of guy but a salad with croutons, bacon cheese and ranch is a day in paradise for me. It’s not a versatile meal but it’s overall taste is too good. The last one with best overall taste in opinion is chicken wings. A very versatile dish that has a taste that just melts in your mouth. Also when it’s duo-ed with ranch or blue cheese, the wings just become something legendary. The overall taste of these foods are all very delectable.

Next up is how consistent the food is. Steak will always hold a special place in my mouth, but I don’t think I could eat it every day. So sadly I have to eliminate it from being the best. Then comes salad which is a very consistent dish but like I said earlier it’s not very versatile so it would get old after a while. So another great one falls. Then comes wings which a very tasty dish like steak and way more versatile than salad, with all it’s flavors, so it still stands in the running for the best.

Lastly, the cost of these food items has gone up exponentially over the last few years and people can’t afford to eat them very often. So yet another flaw of steak is that it is so expensive for the amount you want. Then comes salad which isn’t to bad depending on the place you get it from but usually it’s cheaper than steak. The comes wings and there was a stretch where wings were outrageous but there price has came down where for you to get your fill it will cost between a salad and a steak. So for the grand reveal the best food on earth in my opinion are chicken wings. I could eat them every night and day and I might dare say I have had them for breakfast.
