Welcome to Cocktober everyone! The boys are so back, Lanorris is so back, and South Carolina football is back like cooked crack. The cocks just took a huge win on the road at Florida and we looked just about as sharp as a team can get. Sellers looked like the 2024 version of himself being the dual-threat QB that he is throwing all over them and running wherever he pleased. The receiving core really stepped up this game racking up 279 yards in the air with 4 TDs. The boys looked solid. Also it wasn’t too bad of a game on the ground with 117 rushing yards. Our offensive scheme imposed their will on Florida’s defense just about the whole entire game. Now for the defense, only allowing 19 points with a garbage time TD with one of the best RBs in the entire CFB. We held Baugh to 59 yards on 15 carries which is pretty stout. Also adding Dylan Stewart back to the team after his suspension was huge. He recorded 1 sack, 1 TFL,and 1 forced fumble. This guy is a beast and to have him back is great. The cocks also had 3 turnovers with a fumble and 2 interceptions which we haven’t seen from this defense yet this year. With that being said the cocks are looking very hot right now and are about to go on a hot streak after this bye week. With that being said if we beat Kentucky last week like we very well should have we would be 4-2 with being one win away from being ranked. All and all, the boys are going to be sitting real nice in the 12 slot of the CFP when we’re sitting at 9-3.
